What I think I love the most about XO kitty is how friendships are treated as just as important as relationships.

Season 3 spent a lot of time on the couples sure, but we also got to see friends having each others backs, having fights, forgiving each other.

XO kitty is about found family through friendship- and that means the world to me

top 5 fave grass pokemon

it's so hard for me to do straight up rankings but here's 5 that i absolutely love

roselia has such a nice design, it's so serene yet it has some sharp points to it, just like an actual rose. it reminds me a lot of a clown tbh, and i love that it's barely bigger than your head

vileplume. does any other pokemon have a name that rolls off your tongue so well? say it out loud, it's satisfying.a mainstay of any of my kanto playthroughs, It's got that more subtle creepiness a lot of gen I pokemon have, look at that smile peering at you from under that parasitic flower. imagine that under a real rafflesia

I was just talking about breloom with a friend the other day. what a weird but fun direction to take a mushroom pokemon. I like it's beaky mouth, and the fact that it actually fights at a distance by stretching its arms out. not to mention that anime episode where the gang ran into one that was REALLY PISSED

This one I like just for the weird factor. The fact that kartana is as tiny as roserade yet has a bigger attack stat than deoxys attack is just inherently funny. using paper instead of a living plant to represent the grass type is also a novel way to approach the type. plus, the dev notes on kartana are fun too

This should come as no surprise to anyone who follows me, but maractus is one of my favorite pokemon ever, definitely the pokemon on this list that deserves more attention. it's such a cute little cactus as a nice contrast to the meaner cactus pokemon we have, and i love that it has flowers just like actual cactuses do while fashioning some of the thorns into claws on its hand. plus, the way it has to hop to get around is adorable.

i just wish it wasn't so hopelessly underpowered. definitely a primo candidate for a regional variant/regional evolution. we got a spanish region coming up, how about a prickly pear maractus that dances flamenco?
