Lumina / Moonlander / Dozer / 2025
Moon Lander 16 x 12 in, Oil
Character in Context, the largest exhibition of original illustration in the Western U.S. opening May 2! Come see the show in-person at the A.R. Mitchell Museum of Western Art in Trinidad, Colorado, with several artists in attendance. Demonstrations and gallery talks on Saturday May 3!
The show is intended to give viewers a peak into the process of creating human-made art by displaying final art along side some of the preliminary work that went into creating it. Both this final painting and the study, posted last month, will be included in the show.

Ah, yes. Glomgold, Gibbous, and the "safety inspector." Behold the magic of air quotes!
Do you have any headcanons for either version of Negaduck?
This is going to be kind of a double headcanon for Negaduck and Steelbeak for DT17 lol! Adding more to the JimSteel ship I personally love to expand on!
When they got together, so did their respective pets they have never truly named before!
And they both have backstories!
Delulu: Jim's Moon Rat (Named by Steelbeak)
During the moonvasion, Jim was still in the sewers when he encountered a moon rat that had scurried away from a Moonlander ship into the sewers. It scared all the other rats away, but Jim fell in love with it (in his psychotic ways of course!) It's been quite an annoying pest to Moonlanders back on their home planet, so Jim was never captured and was actually feared by them lol! Despite it's scary look, it's actually quite derpy and is most known for its cross-eyes! It also has a fondness for green cheese, which can turn him larger for a brief time! Even that new hack Darkwing was horrified by his enlarged form!! (I wanted to add in some lore from the NES game!!)
Fubar: Steelbeak's Adopted Black Lab (Named by Jim)
Before going to St. Canard's max security prison, Steelbeak always found this puppy during his cockfighting days. Apparently, this cute adorable pooch was feared by even the toughest and strongest of Steelbeak's enemies, but he NEVER once shows any sign of aggression at all! Steelbeak always brought him as moral support to everyone of his fights, making his enemies petrified of him, and they formed an unbreakable friendship! Even a hardened fighter like himself can't help but lose his maculinity for this pooch's cute factor! And when he was broken out of prison by Jim, Steelbeak finally reunited with a now larger and grown up version! Apparently Jim was HORRIFIED of this dog and named him Fubar as a result (military acronym for F***** Up Beyond All Recognition) lol!

Morrowind Keycap
I made a tiny Vvardenfell keycap for my Moonlander keyboard. It's my first resin diorama and it was pretty tough haha, I made the mold myself out of hot glue since the Moonlander thumb keys are a weird shape.
