Parabola Magazine THE SOUL, LIKE THE MOON Lal Ded 14th century Kashmir Translated by Coleman Barks: The soul, like the moon, is new, and always new again. And I have seen the ocean continuously creating. Since I scoured my mind and my body, I too, Lalla am new, each moment new. My teacher told me one thing, Live in the soul. When that was so, I began to go naked, and dance. –From "Naked Songs," Published by MayPop Books, 1992. Taken from PARABOLA, Volume 30, No. 3, Fall 2005: “Body and Soul.”

Fabian Perez – Surprise at Moonlight 🌙
Moonlight Night
One of my deity ocs for Stex is The Moonlight Arrow and I decided to make a holiday the trains celebrate in honor of her.
It's kind of their Christmas.
They celebrate it on the winter solstice, the longest night of the year.
They sprinkle "moondust" (glitter) everywhere, it's supposed to turn into presents around the house that they have to find.
They wake up around 1 am to celebrate.
They use helmets or skates in place of stockings, that concept stays the same lmao.
They leave the blinds open so that the moonlight can reflect off of the snow and light up the house, they leave all the artificial lights off.
If you wanna know more abt train gods I just reblogged smth where I talked abt them.
