So me and my wife are planning to cosplay Young Giyuu (me) and Sabito (her) from Demon Slayer together for an anime convention because those are our favourite characters. I am in Japan and on one of my first days here I spotted a gatcha gatcha with both of those characters. I spent all of my remaining 100 yen coins on the 400 yen gatcha gatcha, but alas it was Makomo. I spent the next approximately two weeks searching for another of the gatcha gatchas; I only found one and got the last two. Unfortunately, it was Tanjiro and Urokodaki.
Every capsule store, without fail, I would go in, search profusely and come out with nothing to show for. It wasn’t until I came across a capsule store that I wasn’t even planning to go into…
I scoured the aisles of gatcha gatchas, until I found it, the one I had been looking for. I exchanged my money into 100 yen coins and began the venture. I got another Makomo, then I finally got Giyuu, my character was acquired, but that was less important than getting Sabito. Then I got another Urokodashi, but the next one was finally Sabito.
At long last a great relief came upon me, knowing that I had finally acquired what I had long searched for, along with the only other piece of Sabito merch that I could afford. I had many a times silently cursed that they had a favourite character that was ever so difficult to find merchandise for. The gift for my wife was in my possession.
