my fundamental flex is to make my dark elves the original elf, and elven offshoots that look more like humans are. well. because dark elf groups broke off and entered human societies in various countries
#also theyre a different race to begin w because they evolved to live with the moon#rather than the sun#moons?#there might be more than one#anyway the moon will give u moonburn if youre a regular human#dark elves and other people with various safeguards are unaffected by this#theyre fundamentally nocturnal
