Where the hell is this Brian? Why is anyone of the group wondering where he is? I mean, an entire night passed, it's now morning... Nobody wants to call him again? Or is he going to be like Thomas' brother? 😅

The person they're talking to at the beginning isn't the same person they're talking to later, see Whitmore.

In the first image, they seem quite frustrated, while in the second and third, he appears friendlier, and they haven't gone looking for him yet.

And here's my crazy theory:

Remember the man Ash was talking to? He seemed scared, so it's likely Eric was looking for him because he suspected him for some reason, blaming him for Adam's disappearance. One of them could be Brian, but if Brian is part of the group, it would be strange for him to be looking for him, unless he suspected him of being involved in something dangerous.

But if Brian is the person Eric is talking to, then he knows the guy Ash is talking to, and maybe he doesn't like him for some reason and doesn't trust him.

I know what I'm explaining is a bit confusing, but he must suspect that man for some reason

That's why I like to write my story, because it's like going over everything again, being able to theorize and see if something could have happened, in this case, Ash didn't mention Brian that he wasn't in Redlog either or if she knows he is, nobody knows anything about him

hiii, hbj 🤗 I'd like to share my half-assed theory about episode 3 and get you're opinion on it.

so, what if after that walk in the forest (that are recorded on the tape), adam and sophia, for some reason, ended up getting separated and lost in the forest? adam finds his way back, but sophia doesn't. mr. whitmore ends up finding and rescuing her (same as he did to eric in episode 2). she could be injured and, after taking care of her, he takes her back a few days or weeks later (which would explain how she appeared "out of nowhere" and without a scratch). one of the entrances to the forest could be near or behind Sophia's house.

also, what are the chances that this person who eric talks to be brian? or do you think brian could be that phil 2.0 who texts ash?

Well, actually, I see that actually happening. Like, it very much makes sense and it would also explain why Whitemore had a card himself and tried to burn it. This would actively make him part of the whole case and explain why he's included. I'm a bit unsure about the timeline. Because it would be very weird if Sophia was there longer than maybe a couple of hours or one night. Just like Eric. A man finding a hurt child and not immediately calling the police? Weird. And sus.

However, it could be possible that Whitemore is even more involved than just 'Helping'. Maybe something was going on even before that already and this is why he couldn't bring Sophia out right away. Or maybe Sophia has an even deeper connection to Whitemore. Who knows? Maybe he's even her grandpa or something? Might be possible. Or maybe she was really that long alone and at first and was only then found my Whitemore. Shortly before she came back. Would mean she had to survive all this time on her own but it's not impossible.

But if we leave out the background for now then your theory fits very well. Why she was unharmed. Why she suddenly just popped up again as if nothing happened. And with the information we have so far, it appears that Sophias parents wouldn't get a medal for being parents. And it also fits with where their house was. As you said, maybe there was an entrance right there or you could at least reach the Grimmrock easily from there. Wait. Grimmrock? No that was Duskwood xD. I will leave that in because it's funny. xD

AH! Okay, 30 seconds later. Dunkelsteig. Thats the right name. We could make a memory game or something. Sort the terms to the correct game. xD

So, about your second question. I personally believe that Brian is the one who suddenly wrote to Ash. In that few messages with his pictures etc. he absolutely gives major Phil 2.0 vibes. xD But we will see. I also thought Charlie is too much like Richy in the first two episodes. But now we finally saw more about their real personalities. And I'm sure Phil 2.0 won't be a copy in the end.

But hey, also to be fair, every group needs someone like that. xD

I mean, biker man from Eric also kinda reminded me of Dan right away. So we will see where they go with that. But so far it makes more sense to me that the guy who talked to Ash is Brian. He already seems like an interesting character who got into trouble right away. So we will see. ;P
