Daily Observations October 14 2018: Meet Rosie, a mop doll made from start to finish this weekend. Hand sewn dress from fabric I bought for another project and some ribbon I got on sale (and ribbon and lace I've had for the better part of 30 years). Her head is yarn head doll head, long since discontinued, but found a few on Ebay. Daily Observations June 17 2018: Was going to make something entirely different, but then I got an idea to make a mop doll with some Disney fabric I bought for a different project. I haven't made one of these in a long while, but I enjoy making them. Can't buy those kind of doll heads any longer, but I had one of just the right color to match the fabric. She's wearing a hand sewn, no pattern, make it up as I sew, Minnie Mouse dress and Minnie ears with beaded trim and custom bow.
