Years ago, at a #mopsinternational conference, for mothers of preschoolers, I got to hear Tony Evans in person and his incredible story. Then much later, I saw #thewarroommovie in which #priscillashirer (his daughter) played the wonderful role in the power of #prayer when difficulties come in life. Now she needs our prayers, as on Monday she underwent surgery on her lung to remove one of her lobes. I read her #mglit books earlier this year #theprincewarriors And it’s a terrific series with @ginadetwilerauthor for younger readers around eight years and up. If you want your kids to understand bravery and self sacrifice and friendship, it’s a good beginning. The cross in the photo on the left somehow survived the wildfire that took our home 12 years ago. There’s only some slight ashen smudging on one side and it went through all the flames 🔥!
