As a person who regularly gets debilitating headaches I'm quite concerned that if I ever suffered some sort of brain bleed I'd write it off as just another Thursday and try to power through like always.

It will feel like the worst headache you've ever had, but like yesterday I was in so much pain I couldn't keep down food? So really how will I know?

PUP Made Their Late Night TV Debut Last Night And It Was Phenomenal

In support of their forthcoming LP Morbid Kids, Canadian punks PUP paid a visit to Late Night with Seth Meyers to make their late night TV debut.

After previously making a stop on the beloved and recently cancelled (so sad, we know) Chris Gethard Show back in 2017, PUP returned last night with a passionate televised performance of their heart-racing lead single “Kids.”      

Tweeting about last night’s TV appearance, the fun-loving act said, “hello yesterday was very nerve-wracking & surreal & we kinda all blacked out & had no idea what happened — but it’s been really heartwarming to see all of your nice comments about the thing — we are four weirdo Canadians with low expectations & this has been a really wild ride.”

C34: For a long time on my OkCupid profile I answered one of their stupid questions by saying I thought it would be cool to die on a roller coaster. Like hit the first hill and just die of natural causes as a 90 something year old woman.

I feel like the weirder side of Tumblr would appreciate the fact that EMS are train to used a  leg stretching (”traction”) device on people with femur fractures. 

The reason we stretch their legs is to keep the muscles around a broken femur from seizing violently, which causes the broken bone ends to dig into the flesh and arteries in that area. 

Basically the result is that you stab yourself to death with your own jagged bone ends. Which is kind of hardcore, along with being completely terrible.

I wonder just how sensitive the Underlander's skin would be to sunlight. I'm reading stuff about symptoms to cutaneous porphyria and polymorphous light eruption to get ideas. I imagine that, if they were in sunlight for an hour, they would develop terrible sunburns, rashes, blisters, mild edema, etc. and it would be excruciating. That's just in an HOUR (in my headcanon). I think a whole day's worth of sunshine could kill them.

It probably wouldn’t even take that long. After you’re burned bad enough your body starts to overheat (because your skin is what regulates temperature). They would dehydrate very quickly after that and the shock of all three of those things would probably kill them in a couple of hours.

You know... just in case any of you nerds were planning on writing a cute “overland date” fic.
