I always was wondering why didn't we see more shape shifter, and there was also never a mentioning of more.
No one ever saw a shape shifter exept for Double Trouble. The only person who doesn't acted to surprised by first meeting it was Hordak, but Hordak is old.
So my idea why this is so:
Shape Shifter are really magical creatures, but the magic got sucked out of the people and every other thing on the planet.
We have seen the Pigs who were just sleeping, because there magic goes away. What if the same thing happens to the Shape Shifters and Doubel Trouble is just the only one who is still active?
In the end they let the magic free, and the creatures came back from there Sleep. Maybe there will also be more Shape Shifters again.
