Did you see the post about soon to be dad Ashton asking Luke to be the godfather of his child and Luke agreeing and them almost crying as they hug and pat each other on the back? And someone else said maybe Ashton would get down on one knee to ask to tone down the seriousness? (I don't even think this was written by lashton shippers) but I was thinking maybe Ashton does this but then feelings happen? And whoops Luke ends up being more than the godfather?

Or!!! An AU where Luke works at bath and body works and Ashton is his favorite customer because he always goes in there and asks about different bath bombs (even though he'll always end up with the vanilla one) and jokes around and stuff
omg Ashton asking Luke to help him pick out some candles bc he just can't seem to choose! (lies) so then he and Luke end up in the aisle of candles, sniffing each one and sharing their favorites and maybe (definitely) flirting a bit
Luke is well..a solder so his job is to kill people and constantly be at war with other parts of the world but then he meets Ashton who owns one of those stores that sells all the tie-dye hippie stuff with peace signs on it and he goes there at one point and him and Ashton meet and become friends and lets just say that over time, Ashton really changes his point of view, and introduces him to many things. Perhaps this could take place in the sixties or something
you bring me this great AU yet my filthy mind instantly jumps to The Sex Things bc I imagine Luke has never had sex with a male before and being a soldier in the 60s, wanting to do such a thing with Ashton kind of scares him? Like a lot? But within Ashton he found a piece of himself that hasn't been there since he was an innocent little boy. He's not a boy anymore and he definitely isn't innocent, he's seen things and he's done things that he'll never be able to forget, not even for a second, but when he's with Ashton it feels like he can be the Old Luke again... the Luke whose smile was genuine and happy. Ashton makes him happy and he wants Ashton in every way possible and that scares him but hey, life is pretty damn scary in itself so he'll take what he can while he's still living
