Legolas preferred to drink alone. His scouting group liked a few drinks after a successful patrol, just enough to loosen them up, but the prince always excused himself and left them to it to find a wine bottle and a quiet place for himself. His usual drinking place of choice was perfect; a balcony branching off of a corridor that was rarely traveled and overlooked the gardens.
There he sat now, the wine bottle half empty and his glass almost empty, right hand loosely gripping the stem of the glass while he propped his chin in his left, not thinking about anything and just enjoying the slight fog in his mind that the alcohol provided.
