I'm convinced that Mori went through the same character arc as Yotasuke, just without her own Yatora, and in the opposite direction.

I can imagine that Mori tried to broaden her limit and hit a wall. She came to realization that just draw what she wants wasn't enough.

And we end up with these very similar sentiments, but with different attitudes.
