Mormo design for Shadow and Light. Hold on tight to Gunn's will. We wouldn't want some Wharf Rat with one leg to take it from you.
The shells are magic talismans, but Mormo won't say what they do, though they may have something to do with his ability to turn weapons to dust when he touches them, if he so desires. Hey, witches never fight fair.
Hiya! I have a question that relates with your "Age of Monsters/The Great Game" campaign. It relates to the Varisien goddess Desna and her position on this cosmic conflict between Lamashtu and Mormo. I know that she DEFINITELY despises Lamashtu and would like seeing her be destroyed after what she did to her friend and mentor, Curchanus (stealing his title of Beasts and leaving him mortally wounded), but she might not like the idea of Mormo taking it for herself. What do you think?
Desna mourns Curchanus, but knows that holding onto that grief to the point of opposing an attempt to strip the Animal domain from Lamashtu is unproductive. Plus, she is also a primordial entity like Mormo, and knows firsthand how millennia of time can change a divine being. I think Desna isn't going to take huge risks for Mormo, especially considering how mixed the successes of her own Abyssal interventions have gone. But Desna opposes Lamashtu sufficiently to make her and Mormo effectively allies.

54-DUKE MURMUR
Enn:Vefa mena Murmur ayer
Other names:Murmus, Murmux, Mormo, Matthias, Mermo, Lamia
The Fifty-fourth Spirit is called Duke/Earl Murmur, or Murmus, or Murmux. He appears in the form of a warrior riding upon a gryphon, with a ducal crown upon his head. There do go before him those his ministers, with great trumpets sounding. A necromantic spirit, Murmur can keep the dead from harming the living or overstaying its welcome in possessing a medium during channeling sessions. He teaches philosophy perfectly, and to constrain souls deceased to come to answer those questions which he may wish to put to them, if desired. He was partly of the Order of Thrones, and partly of that of angels. He now rules 30 legions of spirits.
According to Runyon, he is the patron of necromancers.

⬩It is important to learn protections before trying to work with any spirits. You can get tricksters and parasites if you don't.
Cleansings- cleaning your space of negative energies. You can burn herbs or incense for this.
Banishings- forcing negative energies out of your space. The lesser banishing ritual is one of the most commonly used.
Warding- wards keep negative energy out of your space. Amulets, sigils and talismans do this.
Set up a your space and do a cleanse and banishing. Have wards up in your home. Meditation is to calm yourself and get your mind ready. The sigil (symbol) is what you draw on paper. The enn is what you chant or say to call forth the spirit.⬩
