Sometimes, you and I can feel like an empty bottle, tossed out the window, left on the side of the road. Unlike the inanimate object, we can choose to not be consumed, we can choose to refill ourselves, and we can choose to extend our precious insides to all the right people. Looking at that empty bottle, cast aside from a car window, I am stricken about the person who threw it -- Probably a teenager, most likely thinking they were becoming more of an adult by the drinking, and hopefully were not beginning a lifelong spiral of looking for answers and fun inside of a bottle, instead of enjoying a sip or two along the way. What happens, when you consume all that is within another vessel, is not that you feel more fulfilled, it is, oddly enough, that you feel emptier. * Life lesson: other people are not yours to consume, for if you do, you will discover that you feel less fulfilled in your thirst for power.
