watching spider-man homecoming as a kid is like this is so cool. peter parker can swing from webs and defeat bad guys. i want to be spider-man.

and then you rewatch it when you grow up and you’re like that’s literally a child. that’s a fifteen year old getting bodied by the vulture and having a building fall on top of him. and no matter how much pain he’s in, he still has to get up and save the world because he’s spider-man. swinging from webs is still cool ig but it really puts things in perspective

something i would’ve liked to see continued from the first iron man movie is tony calling rhodey adorable nicknames. it’s only in like 2 scenes but cmon, ‘sour patch’?? ‘platypus’? ‘honey bear’??? marvel you missed out on running bits and some really cute ironfamily scenes

i have an urge to write a post-endgame avengers fanfic where everybody lives but they have to deal with the grc and flag smashers and all the tfatws plotlines, but idk whether i have the nuance to pull that off
