I FINALLY GOT THE MORPHE FOUNDATION !!!!
Hey guys,
Hope this week is treating you all well. Recently Selfridges have started to sell Morphe Comsetics in store which of course means I had to pick up some bits. I have been desperate to try out their foundation and concealer for ages but I couldn’t get colour matched anywhere .... until now that is!!!!!
I first picked up Morphes famous Foundation the Fluidity Full Coverage Foundation £16.00, I’m actually really happy that I got it in store because the colour I actually matched at was way different to what I expected. Usually I’m the palest shade available but since they’re colour range is so wide I’m actually shade F1.6 which is light skin with pink undertones and if I hadn’t gone to the counter I for sure would of got the wrong colour. I then decided to pick up the matching concealer to the foundation which I was shade c1.45 which again I thought I’d be lighter. I’ve worn this combo of products twice now since purchasing them and I’m obsessed with the finish these products have on my skin. It’s a matte full coverage foundation with a lightweight formula and on the skin it feels so light and yet the coverage is amazing. The concealer is medium to full coverage but really wash to build on which I like personally because when you’re using a full coverage foundation you don’t necessarily need a full coverage concealer on top. I’m personally really happy that these products lived up to the hype and they are also plastic packaging which means you don’t have to worry about things breaking in regards to travelling.
Now I have my base covered I decided to also try out a lipstick since I’ve never worn a Morphe lipstick before. I decided to pick up the shade Wifey from the Matte Lipstick collection ( £9.00 each). Wifey is the perfect nude lipstick that on me looks like a my lips but better colour. I’ve been wearing it so much already and it just goes perfectly with my skin tone and a mixture of nude and bold eye makeup looks.
I’m really glad these Morphe products have so far lived up to the hype. We all know I already love their palettes and setting spray so it’s nice to try out other products and still really enjoy them. If you’re local to London you can now get Morphe products in Selfridges near the Huda Beauty Counter and then staff are so sweet and helpful there so I think now anytime I need some shopping I’m going there.
Lots of love
