ninjago story time

the other night, my sister, cousin, their boyfriends, and i decided to go on a late-night coffee run. we drove prob close to an hour and thirty minutes total for this coffee lmao (there are indeed perks to being adults)

outside of the town, there’s this prison. it’s lit up with them yellow lights like in the movies. me being me (the driver who can’t see well at night 💀) i didn’t give it much attention on the way to the coffee, and my four passengers were in conversation so they didn’t either.

on the way back, my sister (in the passenger seat next to me) was talking with me more than with the three in the back. when we drove past the prison, she said:

“look, it’s the jail. that’s what’s gonna happen if you keep torturing morro.”

guys when i tell you i started dying while driving 💀💀💀💀💀 “that’s what i’m gonna do when i go home. i LITERALLY finished grading early so i could have the weekend to write. HE IS IN MY POCKET RIGHT NOW.” (shout out to my minifig morrito ily)

and anyways she somehow knew morro is ‘in jail’ in my multi-chapter fic like 😭😭😭
