morro gets nightmares and they get really bad
one night he gets one abt garm Pulling A Wu and he wakes up with garm there trying to comfort him
you know when you wake up from a nightmare and you dont really register that it was a nightmare at first? you think it was real (or if youre like me, you end up in a terrified daze, my nightmares are intense :')) or whatever
between his own already set trauma reactions, the fact that ninja instincts are prob different, and the nightmare haze's effects, morro full blown panics, hes basically thrashing to free himself
he accidentally bites garm
and it doesnt really hurt garm but morro thinks it did
and also remember that hc i have where morros coping mechanism is running away from terrible situations? it worked twice before so naturally it would work now
so while garm is taking care of the bite wound and morro is "calming down", he fucking gets up and bolts
he goes as far away as he can and is literally terrified to return because theres no way garm would accept him back right
well he comes across the ninja one day and lloyd basically says "bitch our dad is worried if you dont go back and talk to him i can and will haul you over my shoulder and take you back right now"
morro didnt want to test him so he does go back
except its late at night and garm doesnt like being woken up so when morro knocks (he was too scared to just enter the house despite it still sort of being his) hes a little snappy at first
nd in that moment, morro sees just how badly leaving affected garm. it had been a few weeks already and it looked like garm barely ate or slept at all and fucking hell he feels terrible
morros bad at handling his emotions as we all know so he just sort of?? shuts down??? n garm senses this so he like, calms down slightly and takes morro inside
tells him they can talk whenever hes ready, basically offers to take him out to eat or cook him something if he wants it, as a sort of way to reward morro for coming back
summary bc im too lazy to keep writing: morro n garm fix everything
buuuuuuttt that doesnt solve the fact that morros still too scared to sleep and he wont let garm touch him bc hes scared hell hurt garm again
