i don't usually have headcanons that just straight up disagree with something in canon but this shit

is entirely too legible. rick's handwriting should be some of the worst chicken scratch you've ever seen. he should need morty's help reading his own notes sometimes

Which Rick and Morty quotes do you say/reference most often (whether to yourself or others)? Personally, I tend to say ‘(body part) hurty’ a lot and if I say what the hell I will follow it up with ‘I know, right?)

Okkkk some people are severely misunderstanding the point of Mortynight Run so allow me. One person in particular thinks the message is "Don't help people" another person believes it was "Don't get involved in other people's business" butttt that's not what it's trying to say. It shows Morty's naivety and innocence, in season 2, he still had a lot of innocence, and this episode shows that he wanted to do the "right thing" to a fault. It's supposed to say that in real life, you can't always do the right thing, life isn't some kind of fairy tale, you can't just go by doing the right thing in real life. Saving someone from being assassinated seems like the simple right thing to do, but life isn't that simple, sometimes the right thing isn't actually the right thing. Morty realizing that this episode contributes to his character development going from a wide-eyed naive innocent boy to the hardened teenager he is now, that's the point of the episode, the point isn't to "not help people" so there. Also side note but I really hope I don't seem like one of those fans that claim other fans aren't smart enough to "get" the show, so I hope I don't seem that way- Sorry if I do
