Let me tell you about the Moscow subway. Trains come every two minutes. A swipe cost 36 roubles (60 cents USD). The temperature in the stations is exactly room temperature. And the stations and the trains? They smell like NOTHING. I was like what’s that smell? Golly, that’s the absence of urine. There are hardly any delays, and the longest I’ve experienced so far was 53 seconds. There have never been any slashers on the subway.
