The event limited edition A is the cutest and I regret not buying more to get more pictures because the Uramasa one is so great. Only now am I finding stuff I could have said at the handshake.
The place was really nice, with gradins so you could see them well from above. The weather was extremely nice, esp for October. Aka I dressed for the morning freshness, as I left home at 8:30 on 4 hours of sleep, and was roasted in the 11am sun. And I was not alone: during the Part 2 radio talk, Kojiro started moving weirdly and when asked, explained that his legs were getting burnt by the sun (and he was only wearing dark red jeans, the black-pants members must have been the same. Unless they're all too sticky thin to fill their skinny jeans)
Part 1
Setlist: Shuntoura, Samurai, Moshikoi
Samurai is very cool, as expected. The dance involves pretending to brandish a katana at some points, and then Kouki and (Kensui? Uramasa?) pretend to be hit, and Ryouma stands in front of them arms wide open as if to protect them with his body.
Kouki missed a step at some point, and according to a girl I talked to so did Kyouhei, but Kouki laughed in a "woops!" way while apparently Kyouhei looked concerned. Didn't see that, but I noticed again that there's no point in comparing the sharpness of some members' moves. Like idk, Kensui and Kyouhei. :p Talking of which, have I mentioned lately how awesome Kensui’s dancing is on Moshikoi? He was right in front of me for a good part of the 2nd show and I couldn’t look anywhere else. I think it got me a smile~~
During the 2shots, Kojiro and Kyouhei were playing with the strong shadows projected by the morning sun; a picture may pop up with the shadow of them kissing :p
Part 2:
Started with a 10mn live talk with FM Osaka. I hope it'll be put online somewhere but I'll try to remember some points:
The show's intro song is really pastoral, so all members came on stage prancing around joyously until it was over ^^
Started with promotion of the new song, how cool it is etc. Uramasa explained that it was initially titled If this is love but was changed to be easier to understand; he asked for approval from the audience and had to tell them that nodding is not an appropriate reaction for radio; but I really wanted to yell "I disagree" or something :p
While Kouki and Kojiro were seriously explaining that it's a heavy kind of love, and that you have to feel the torment every time you sing it, Kensui and Ryouma started fooling around, attracting the attention of the radio presenter who then went on to talk about Ryouma's graduation.
Ryouma said at the beginning he was a bit afraid of Kojiro, who said he has no idea why but admitted he left all the welcoming business to Uramasa. Uramasa in turn said that he didn't have much to do, as even when he had to call the 2 new members the day before and tell them they'd have to perform this song they hadn't done before*, they both had studied the dances by watching videos and he only had to correct a few points and help with the formation dance (aka the rotation members do on stage during a song)
It turns out the main worry (apart from his voice having grown deeper with the years, even in private) is that the Osaka comedian combi is split, as it's apparently impossible to do manzai with Raito. Raito is willing to practice though! The radio person asked for Kensui's memories with Ryouma and of course we only had an instant to believe he was going to be serious before it went weird :p
Setlist: Moshikoi, Kazamidori
The stage being pretty wide allowed the members to move more freely during the parts of the dance that I can only describe as "move around in a cute way"
Part 3: (I wasn’t there, had to go back to work)
Tour shirts
Setlist: Taiyou mitai, Moshikoi, Natsu yasumi
*1° bad planning o_o 2° don't they have staff for that? And for planning, btw? Wait nvm, broke idols problems.
Personal:
Kensui and Uramasa played with my hair. My life is complete. (Kensui when I sat down in front of him for the picture; Uramasa when I came to him for the handshake with absolutely nothing to say so, as he does, he had to find something nice to tell me; today it was my hair)
The full description of the single is up on the official website. As expected, the lyrics to Moshikoi are not from Hanawa (it didn’t sound like him), and neither are the lyrics to Kazamidori (”weather vane”), the B-side track, but! He wrote Samurai, the RE’s bonus track.
Now that we have everything about the main song (PV, choreo, lyrics) I’m starting to look forward to bonus content! =D
