so i didn’t watch this show (because i don’t care about it) but i just found out it used AI so i have lots of feelings about it
NPR's Scott Simon talks with graphic artist Karla Ortiz about the issues of consent and compensation around the use of AI in the art world.
"There are no benefits to being a nice person--" Bitch I will bite you
Did you know that Dick literally killed the Joker to get revenge from Jason? Yeah, he killed him, but Bruce in some twisted desire to keep Dick's hands clean, revived that bastard.
I believe that for the brief moment that Joker was dead, Johnny was overcome by a sense of freedom & peace at the death of his murderer.
But when Bruce revived him, it died.
How would Jason react in your Jason Is Johnny AU if he learned this?
Most likely go apeshit again. Make sure to beat Bruce the fuck up and hang him upside down by his toenails in nothing but his boxers.
And then take a photo and send it to the rest of the rouges!
Except this time the Lazarus pits would have nothing to do with it! It's staying out of this one. Is it sentient enough to do that? About as sentient as a blob ghost. But not any smarter than that.
The Lazarus pits acting as a parasitic symbiote of sorts fjdbdjd as if we already don't have enough crap going on to begin with.
Don't worry, Jason will most likely either obsorb it after a while or it becomes dormant til something bothers it.
I'm tired.
Tired of getting slapped in the face with yet another realisation of how casual, how normal violence is to those I love. I hate that I can tell I'm lucky, that I'm privileged, because I was never hurt physically.
I wasn't lynched. I wasn't sexually assaulted. I wasn't thrown out of my home.
And every time I get reminded of that, I get a little angrier. On behalf of those friends, those sweet hearted, kind, brilliant people who speak about the horrors they've lived as if they're normal.
Station 19 Rant
I was gonna wait a little to rant about the Station 19 finale till I calmed down put I'm still angry and can't stop thinking about it so here we go:
First on a good note: Maya and Carina are married and it was beautiful and I love them!!
Second on to the annoyance: Sullivan. This man I never really liked I didn't care about him before or after he married Andy, he just wasn't a character that I would route for but this pushed me over the edge and I hate him. He made some 'interesting choices' and I'm probably never gonna forgive him whether the characters do or not. He is a selfish asshole that stabbed the person who saved his job and gave him the opportunity to redeem himself in the back for what?? To save the station?? Absolutely not!! For his own personal gain of getting his rank and title back.
He was a Battalion Chief who COMMITTED A FELONY and still got to keep his job, going back as a probie. Now they are 'relieving Maya of her duties' (whatever that means firing or demotion) for letting her firefighters live lives outside the station by going to protests and going against protocol to SAVE A CHILD'S LIFE!! And they might give the job back to him, letting him skip ranks over the other two completely qualified lieutenants.
But the main thing that's pissing me off is that if Sully hadn't said anything against Maya or lobbied for his job back the investigation would have gone as normal and maybe Maya would stay Captain. And the fact that Maya had no idea this was happening and got no chance to defend herself which is probably breaking some kind of protocol of informing the person first before sending out a MASS TEXT to the station that she's no longer their boss. If you wanted to tell them all at once do it at the beginning of their next shift!
Now my thoughts are it could be a temporary thing where she goes back to lieutenant or normal firefighter while the investigation is happening then she gets the chance to defend herself in the court type scenario that Sully got and everyone does the same thing where they go to advocate for her and she keeps her job OR she is permanently demoted/fired and all the higher ups are misogynistic assholes that should get stripped of their ranks and fired instead.
That is all don't try to fight me on my opinions. You can have different opinions but I don't care about them.
