A few issues I have with the theory of 'Athens and Homer hated Ares because he's a patron God of Sparta'

Athens was home to one of the two notable Temples of Ares (the other is, and I promise I'm not making this up, Metropolis of Anatolia)

Spartans didn't heavily worship Ares, a tribe that they conquered called the Geronthrae did and they just didn't stop worshipping him after being colonized, the Spartans primarily worshipped Apollo and Athena (which probably explains why a bulk of myths about him are women running away from him).

While it is likely Athens didn't prop him up compared to Athena because he was a God that is a patron deity of Thrace (in myths at least, in real life however is a whole can of worms) because they saw the Thracians as barbarians and while the Iliad did him no favors, his 'violent, temperamental, and vicious' nature really isn't that much worse compared to most of the other primary Olympians and it's more than likely that Athens and Attica Greece didn't hate Ares, they were afraid of him because he is the literal father of horror, that I won't argue, they just preferred Athena in the day to day civic lives but when it's time for men to get to killing each other they prayed to Ares.

I really hope I'm mostly right about this otherwise I'm going to be bearing my ass again....

New theory on who is the monster

In greek history, the giants were the one that were created at the same time and same parent than the gods (and have the same powers as them). We now know the monster was created at the same time than the gods so that would check out

then if you look at the mythology of the giants, the scariest and the one gods fear the most is name Thyphon. He and sibling went to a fight for olympus. Here I quote a mythology website to confirm my doubt 

‘’ With the exception of Athena, all of the other Greek gods and goddesses fled the scene, opting to change forms and hide from the monster rather than try to fight him.’‘ (x)

In the end, Zeus and the olympians won over him and trapped him under the earth (which could be Black Spire).

 the fact that he said he ate other like him makes me lean on a Chronos-like patern since Chronos ate the gods before he was slayed by Zeus. But since they hinted at being created at the same time as the gods, it cant be since Chronos is their father with Gaia. 

So new theory, the monster is Thyphons, father of monster and giants

shamelessly angsty, spoilery shit under the cut-- just me crying about a prompto’s mother theory tbh

so like. has anyone seen the theory about the naga? the boss you fight in the cavern before getting ramuh’s power. she grabs prompto at one point and he just about screams the cave down and then shouts for her to show herself-- and she does, all the while hissing about her baby and asking who took her baby. if you tell her you know where the baby is, she accuses you of stealing them and immediately attacks. the naga’s a daemon, which we know are people who were infected-- are you seeing where this is going? i mean. of all people, she grabbed prompto, who was bred to become an MT in the facility, and who probably was ripped away from a mother. apparently verstael, one of the empire’s high-ranking types, has been named as prompto’s biological father but no mother has been mentioned and i’m sobbing at this because-- well, ‘cause they had to kill the naga. and she only wanted her baby back. even twisted into a daemon, the woman she used to be just wanted her child. i wonder if, when prompto escaped the facility before he could be infected and turned into a daemon-- maybe they turned his mother instead.

Here are my thoughts about Clara’s departure. There’s no other way to put it. She’s going to die. I don’t want something that heartbreaking, but she is. Not confirmed, but I just don’t see any other option. The first actual legitimate death of a companion on screen since Adric.

Just think about her reactions to everything starting with Dark Water. She was going to tell something to Danny on the phone that was not good before he was hit by the car. What if Clara is the one the Doctor is referring to in the prequel, his long time friend who is sick? She was easily going to just give up on life without Danny. And she wanted to in Last Christmas as well. And she dreamed that she actually lived a long life in her dream state from the Dream Crabs. What if that is what she really wished for, but couldn’t have? And now she’s just abandoned her life on earth pretty much and wants to experience and see as much as she can. What if all of this is to be able to WHILE she can, since her time to live is limited?

At the very least, it will happen in Face the Raven. It’s said one will not get out alive, and they’ll have to face the raven, and the Doctor is alone in Heaven Sent. This is going to hurt...a lot.
