And you know what makes me happy about this fandom a lot of the time? @mostlyinthemorning!

She’s an incredible writer, an infographic genius who manages to make data fascinating to someone who wants to run and hide at the idea of a spreadsheet, organizes the Summer Reading Challenges, collaborates with farm witches and contributes so many awesome things to the fandom through her many, many talents.

4. Which comment has had the most impact on your writing?

even though it’s true i am not going to go with the “every comment impacts me” cop out

what really impacts me is whenever someone tells me my fics are in character. a comment on this story said it felt like it could be a scene on the show and i rode that high for like a week

another thing was how much @swearphil loved the valentine fic i wrote for her. it was the first time i was writing for someone other than myself and it just made me really happy that she liked it

What’s something nice you did for yourself this week?

Hello!

Hmm. I have been thinking about this. For a while the only thing I could think of was that when I ran an unpleasant errand one day, afterwards I had about twenty minutes to kill and I stopped by a drive-in and bought myself a cherry limeade and sat in the car and looked at my phone. It felt a little decadent.

But I would rather share something that doesn’t involve food-as-reward, capitalism, or the internet. So I will also tell you that I made myself a little place to sit outside in the mornings and read with my coffee. I don’t know how long/often I can do that into the fall, as it depends on temperature, light, smoke, and rain, but I remembered and made the effort to do it twice this week and it was very pleasant.

12 days of Fandom

I'm such a chaos demon this time of year, I have no idea how many of these I've done, but Imma keep going until Christmas day. Because, you know, I love telling people they are awesome.

Today's person of awesomeness is @mostlyinthemorning with a special mention to this fic.

Because I really loved the reviews. And they kinda inspired my reviews for Reservations but I didn't have the patience to work out the coding to make them look like they came from a magazine.

Overall- Houdini74- your brain blows me away. They take so many outlandish ideas and just make them seem like 'Of course this is a thing. Why wouldn't it be?'

Plus you are like a full-time cheerleader for this fandom, so respect.

28. Favorite work you wrote this year?

The drabbles because apparently that’s all I wrote this year. 😕 (which means there’s a lot of unwritten or WIP out there)

30. Biggest surprise while writing this year?

Writing the drabbles. I feel like I’m getting better at them?
