Re-Introduction
I seem to keep doing this re-introductions, because I feel like I’m going to have time to blog and then you know life just gets in the way. I still don’t have a full niche for this, but I’m going to keep reviewing materials, and putting fun things up on here. Hopefully, I can keep it up. But first, my name is Nicole, I’m safely in the the elder millennial age range, and this is my…

☆2024 Pride Celebration☆ Day 5: Favorite LGBTQIA+ Ships [2/10] ⤷David Rose & Patrick Brewer - Schitt's Creek (2015-2020)
Life update:
I resigned from the library on June 24th. I still have the gym job, and will be picking up more hours but not too many because trying to get insurance is fucking insane. And it’ll be a crap HMO plan where I need referrals. Not cool.
I definitely going through the 5 stages of grief and I’m at the anger stage.
Also to anyone with a library board, make u heir bylaw an iron clad so you can enforce them. Power hungry boards who don’t know how to do their job will ruin you every time.
I also think I’m frustrated because my other co-workers who left, have had interviews and offers already and I can’t even get a nibble. At least point I feel like I’m going to the loser who’s life is wasted by working at gym forever because she can’t get anything else.
So if anyone knows of a full time library job in southeastern PA, send it my way.

Another AO3 thing I’m curious about, how do yall decide if something is good enough to read? Usually I follow a rule of 1 kudos for every 10 hits. One because it’s easy math and two it’s yet to fail me. Thoughts? Do you just go for it and pray it’s good?
which of the following most closely describes your music taste?
white couple's wedding reception
songs that could be on a Shrek soundtrack
theatre kid's audition portfolio
dropped a box full of forks down a metal staircase
gazing pensively out the window in the rain
audio equivalent of reading dry purple prose
music to make drunk girls say "omg this is my songgggg"
greatest karaoke hits
there are 12 kinds of strummed string instrument involved
two trucks having sex
FUCKIN SLAYER, BRO 🤘😜
the dune soundtrack
Dearest coven,
Do you remember the scene when the store opens and it's busy but Patrick and David share a glance and Patrick raises his eyebrows and David looks flustered?
Is there a fic that is inspired or deals with the aftermath of that shared moment?
Thank you

There was a time when the world was sweeter...when the women in Beaufort, North Carolina, wore dresses, and the men donned hats...when something happened to a seventeen-year-old boy that would change his life forever. Every April, when the wind blows in from the sea and mingles with the scent of lilacs, Landon Carter remembers his last year at Beaufort High. It was 1958, and Landon had already dated a girl or two. He even swore that he had once been in love. Certainly the last person in town he thought he'd fall for was Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of the town's Baptist minister. A quiet girl who always carried a Bible with her schoolbooks, Jamie seemed content living in a world apart from the other teens. She took care of her widowed father, rescued hurt animals, and helped out at the local orphanage. No boy had ever asked her out. Landon would never have dreamed of it. Then a twist of fate made Jamie his partner for the homecoming dance, and Landon Carter's life would never be the same. Being with Jamie would show him the depths of the human heart and lead him to a decision so stunning it would send him irrevocably on the road to manhood.
