So I was trying a little Corruption Arc for Goji boy( just for funsie).

Phase 1:

Talking stages, swapping stories and traumas, situations where they stand too close for normal standards. Situations WHERE stand not closer to each other feels even worse.

Oh man, Godzilla is such a grumpy, grumpy kaiju. He had to put up with Ghidorah’s bullshit, not to mention Mothra’s constant nagging to protect humanity… then there’s Rodan, who’s just Rodan.

It would be hard to have Godzilla warm up to any sort of kaiju, and especially any human; he only works with them just because Mothra protects and sees potential in them them and they prove to be semi-beneficial to his reign as king of the monsters, so if a human wants to be partners with him, they’d have a lot to prove, same goes for a kaiju (we’ll be using a kaiju!reader for this scenario). 

If he were to have a S/O, they’d have to be strong and intelligent. Gojira doesn’t have patience considering all the fuckery that happens on Earth, so he wouldn’t like a S/O that fucks around too often (preferably at all). 

Goji would be the type to have ‘tough love’ meaning he may be hard on his S/O, such as pushing them during their “play fights”, or be harsh on them during a scolding, but it just means he cares a lot about them, and would be sure to reward them with cuddles and kaiju smooches if they do a good job.

He’s not fond of PDA, but that doesn’t mean he won’t do it on occasion. A nuzzle here, a lick there, small things, ya know? Mothra finds the action incredibly sweet, and she tries to encourage Godzilla to be more open with his love for his S/O, but his stubborn pride would never let that happen. 

When shit hits the fan (like Monarch stupidly awakening Ghidorah), the first thing Godzilla does is rally his S/O by his side. He isn’t the type to shelter his S/O, or have them take the sidelines in order to protect them, he wants his S/O to stand by his side, and to show any rival kaiju (or the humans) that his mate is there to support him, so they better choose carefully.

Sometimes, Goji takes his S/O down to the Hollowed Earth to spend some time there. Think of it as a vacation from his normal kingly duties; down there, he lazes about most of the time, and his S/O should join them, since they never know when another disaster will strike. Take every chance to rest.

For the most part, I imagine Goji’s S/O would be his rock in the rough waters. With his mate around, it’s a lot easier to handle the stressors he often deals with as king, and that he has someone to share these situations with (usually Mothra helped him with it before his S/O came along, but Mothra was an acquaintance at best, not a partner). With S/O, he isn’t as quick to lose his fucking shit. 

Furthermore, I imagine they would also be the one to stop him from irrationally reacting to some certain situations, for example, what happened with MechaGodzilla. He likely was considering annihilating the entirety of the human race for creating such an abomination and resurrecting Ghidorah, but his S/O would stop him and bring him down from his anger.

Some time ago i posted on my personal/league rambling account that it would be cool if Mothra and Pyke were fused concepts. Im not good at designing skins nor making clothes be sensical but i wanted to give it a try anyway <3 A Mothra Pyke. Mostly inspired by Heisei Mothra and the 2019 GKOTM Mothra, with a bit of the 2003 Mothra.

In this context Pyke, instead of being a revengeful undead (keeping it quite too short for my liking), is a guardian of nature and life, able to rebirth and to sacrifice himself when needed.

I guess this can work as faire court aswell? Summer fairy? Anyway <3
