PRAYER IS YOUR BATTLE GROUND
Every day we are engaged with different battles. It may be a battle against money or perhaps a battle of the heart; and most of us don’t know how to fight the right way, nor do we understand who we are really fighting against.
We’ve got to have the right resources and strategies before we can engage in any battle we come across. Why do we like to fight battles on our own? It was Jesus who said we should cast all our burdens upon him. He is a mighty worrier and great in battle; with him our battles will ultimately be won. There is nothing more powerful than prayer. Jesus also said that those who pray to their father in secret they will be rewarded openly (Matthew 6v6). So fight your battles in prayer.
Remember that Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10v10). He want steal your joy, kill your faith and destroy your relationship with God. He wants you to doubt that God is able to fight for your battles. Disbelieving God is sin. Prayer it’s just telling God what’s in your heart and asking him to guide you. if you are troubled take it to God in prayer.
If you are burdened, here are a few resources you can use:
1. YOU NEED TO PRAY
This is an opportunity to tell God what is troubling you. If there’s something weighing you don’t hesitate, tell God.
2. YOU NEED TO PRAY INDIVIDUALLY
This is your battle so fight it alone with prayer. Keep your prayers private, God will answer them openly like he promised.
3. PRAY SPECIFIC
God said we don’t have because we don’t ask (James 4v2). Be specific on what you are asking for and he will answer you.
4. PERSEVERE IN PRAYER
It may often seem like our situations are getting worse and our prayers left answered but remember that God He’s never late or too early, trust his timing.
5. PRAY BIG, BOLD AND WITHOUT CONDITIONS
There is no harm in asking for something specific. As we pray God will change our prayers to align with His will
The strongest defense you have against temptation is prayer. It’s your ammunition in the battle! We are shown time after time throughout the bible that indeed God really answer prayers. When you are troubled, pray! He provides help when you call upon him.
