I did a thing.
I just finished reading The Halloween Tree this evening. This is the last thing my friend sent me before he passed away, so this copy means a lot to me. I really love this book, but I'll admit, reading the end again made me so sad. After losing my mom and friend this year, I couldn't help thinking I'd give up a year of my life to Moundshroud to have given them each another year with me. If you haven't read The Halloween Tree, I definitely recommend it. I recently learned that Bradbury also wrote Something Wicked This Way Comes, so I'm hoping to get a chance to read that next October.
