Our mountain mural before picture. It took three weekends of taping, painting, re-taping, re-painting, adding details, touching up, and VIOLA!
01.22.2017
The first weekend we did painted the back layer of the mountains then the front layer. The tape going both at the top and bottom of each layer.
02.05.2017
The second weekend we painted the middle mountain layer and started taping off, and painting, the snowcaps and trees.
02.12.2017
The third and final weekend we finished the snowcaps and trees. We made finishing touches on the paint that bled through the tape (IF YOU DECIDE TO DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS, DO NOT GO CHEAP WITH TAPE is something I wish someone would have told me). The trees did not come exactly symmetrical but they were by far the hardest thing to do. The geometric lines, measurements, and cutting of the tape took more time than I ever could have imagined. BUT we loved how everything came out.
