Epic mickey 2 au where the mad doctor manipulates Mickey into (accidentally) working for him.
So basically the idea is, after the incident with Prescott is revealed, the doctor decides to focus on attacking his problem at its core, Mickey.
Just like how he manipulated Prescott into turning against the other gremlins by feeding into his worst most egotistical thoughts to convince him to become powerful and steal Mickey's brush, he tries to manipulate Mickey using his worst thoughts, ie the thinner incident.
He tells him that he might be revered as a hero among the toons, but if they actually knew what he did they'd fear him,
That his friends say they forgive him, but how could they truly forgive someone that ruined everything?
Mickey could easily use the thinner at any moment, what's stopping him from making everything worse,
And that really he's not even worthy of the title "hero", he just happened to stumble apon the brush.
This eventually causes Mickey to become less outgoing and isolated from his friends, not trusting that Oswald and Gus are telling him the truth and relying on the doctor as a source of honesty
He might be the evil mad doctor, but at least he's telling him the truth
So this au would end with a fully brainwashed Mickey fighting againts Oswald, where Oswald has to help convince Mickey he does truly care about him, even if he made mistakes
I also wanna add Oswald using the brush but idk how that would work out lol
