[21/31: Vera Oberlin from Monster Prom]

Yesterday's spooky cutie was my favorite male love interest from this game, today is my favorite female love interest: Vera! I love her design (gorgons are gorgeous, debate me) and I love romancing her. She's a cold-hearted, ruthless businesswoman, but I always love seeing her warm up just a little to my MC and show a softer side. What can I say, I'm a sucker for tsunderes.

[20/31: Scott Howl from Monster Prom]

I'm a sucker for characters who are complete doofuses with a heart of gold, so Scott was definitely my favorite male love interest in Monster Prom. He's such a sweetheart, and every one of his encounters puts a huge smile on my face. He's just such a good boy 😭

Monster Prom headcanon: Brian and Vicky

I always thought Brian and Vicky were siblings. Their designs and color palettes really compliment each other, and they look kinda similar.

They're twins (back when they were human/alive, I mean). Their parents were mad scientists, and Brian was zombified when they were testing Undead saliva as a cure for acne...by letting a zombie bite the shit out of their son's face. On the bright side, now that he's undead he doesn't get pimples anymore!

Vicky stole some makeup from her mom's purse to play with and died when she unknowingly applied her mother's newest invention: C4 Lipstick (when you want lips with an EXPLOSIVE burst of color!) Her parents gathered her fallen pieces, sewed them back together, and electrocuted her back to life.

Monster Prom LIs: What They'd Main in Splatoon

I was bored.

Damian: Either an inkbrush or a roller main. He likes weapons that are hands on, and he's that asshole who will splat you the instant you Superjump on the map. His favorite special ability is the Ink Stamper.

Scott: He likes Splattershots, Sploosh-o-matics, and any weapon that has bright colors on it (like the Splattershot Jr.) He's the type of player that will get the most turf inked, but he dies on accident all the time (falling into water, off the stage, etc.) He likes the Baller!

Liam: Hmm...Something that isn't common. I'll say the Foil Squeezer and the L-3 Nozzlenose. He likes that you can customize your character with a bunch of different styles, and he makes the best art posts. He'll go on long rants every Splatfest in order to prove why his side is the best. His favorite special is the Sting Ray (he uses it to make really precise lineart on walls)

Miranda: Doesn't play it much. She says it's an inaccurate representation of her father's kingdom, and "is likely propaganda made by the airpeople, meant to spread misinformation." She changed her tune when she noticed that Pearl wears a crown, and was enamored with the adorable "princess" of Inkopolis. She likes to have her serfs play it for her, and she doesn't really care what they main (as long as they're dressed in outfits she approves of).

Vera: Charger main. She takes great pleasure in splatting enemies from halfway across the map when they least expect it. She likes the Tenta Missles special. She prefers to play Salmon Run, since it's the easiest way to make money (and when she says other modes she always has food/drinks to increase how much cash she gets). She has a betting pool open every Splatfest, and her team wins every time.

Polly: Dualie main. She made up a drinking game where every time she splats someone, she takes a shot at the end of the match. If she gets splatted, two shots. She loses every Splatfest because of this game, but she still has fun. Her favorite special is the Bubble Blower.
