Poppin’ || Pan&Akira

When the first day of festivities had finally died down, Pan decided he would stick around for the fireworks. He had been wandering the festival all day, trying this game or that food, and at some point had merely set up his berry cart for a while. A flower crown woven from white lilies rested on his head and a fresh, homemade strawberries and cream popsicle was held firmly between his fingers as he looked around for a place to sit while the sunlight died around him.
One by one the stars popped into existence above him. Watching night take over as the day faded was one of Pan’s very favorite activities. In the daylight he was mischievous and brash, but at night he became more mysterious and introspective. Not that he lost much of his brashness for it.
The wild god finally found an empty patch of grass, a little way from where so many people were still playing games or picnicking. Not too far away was someone Pan barely recognized, a demigod he thought was named Akira. Striking up a conversation didn’t seem like a bad way to pass the time as Pan waited for what was supposed to be a magnificent fireworks show. “Have you seen any fireworks shows before?”
