Cake and Stuff | Minnie & Hades
There’s this sort of festival going on at Mount Phoenix. Hades knows because the excitement about it is quite big. It’s like the entire city is buzzing with life over all the cool things there are to do all over. But what has especially caught Hades’ attention is the large amount of food that is served in several markets. Now if there is one thing he has learned since his return to the Upperworld, it’s that the variety and the level of deliciousness of the food has improved tremendously.
So it’s no surprise that the god of the Underworld is soon to be found near the food stands and displays of whatever it is that is the thing people are supposed to eat during this cheery festival. He honestly didn’t even bother to check on the interwebs what this entire thing is all about, and has instead just come over to live and see it for himself.
Which was a very good idea, he decides, stuffing his face with another one of those cakes they seem to be selling all over. It’s probably his tenth, or maybe he’s somewhere closer to fifteen. Some of the perks of being a god are the fact that he can eat however much or little he wants - and the same goes with sleeping. Clearly in the following days he is going to do a lot of the first and very little of the latter.
The thought brings a grin to his face, which lingers as he looks around himself. It doesn’t take him long to find a demigod who doesn’t look entirely too busy. Especially not too busy to answer a simple question. So he wanders over a little closer to the young male before he speaks up.
“So, tell me, what is this entire thing about, actually?” He just about finishes the question before lifting the umpteenth moon cake of the afternoon to take a bite out of. “And what is this stuff made of? It is truly delicious.”
