If I had a nickel for every time I made an anthropomorphic animal character for Sibyl I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened more than once.

I think I need to accept that if Sibyl was in modern day she would be a furry.

Okay, so- @thegreatyin made a post suggesting a little contest between all the Mr Cards to hang upside down the longest with the reward being a plushie of their favorite coworker. My bud @dr-baasha noticed a golden opportunity since by the point their character Ross will be Mr Cards, he will have long been married to my Master OC, Mr Bindings. Also known as my Bag a Legend PC; Sibyl Bierce.

And after a bit of joking back and forth about it, I decided to draw the hypothetical Mr Bindings reward plushie, with a bonus of her husband. No shading bc I'm between some bigger projects rn lol. Based the designs off youtooz because that was the first thing that popped into my head at "marketable plushie." (/not affectionate) Oh and D told me Ross is mostly a generic looking master as Mr Cards, so I just added his cowboy hat to add some distinction lol.

Also something funny about this idea is that Sibyl as Mr Bindings takes over Mr Veils' old domain of clothing and fabric because she ate it, so not only would she have probably had to personally approve the designs of the plushies, but if anyone besides Ross won that little competition she could probably be like "Oh no! All of the materials for the Mr Wines stuffed toys fell into the peligin dye vats! I'm not sure how that happened! How sad!"

If that sounds familiar its because I already suggested that joke to D, I'm just putting it in an actual post now. But Ross has a decent chance at winning so maybe she wouldn't have to stoop to that.

Mr Bindings - A Potential Future

Okay so back during Christmas I grabbed some destinies for my PCs, and I ended up picking the Authority destiny for Sibyl. The idea of Sibyl becoming one of the Masters definitely intrigued me, but I was also generally prepared to ignore it and consider it a problem for later since as far as I knew there was only one canonical way for your character to become a Master and that wasn't an option for me.

Then thedeafprophet suddenly dropped that its implied you will eventually be sought out to replace Mr Veils after completing Bag a Legend. The very Ambition I have lined up for Sibyl. You know when she gets the religious mania for the thing in the well out of her system.

So of course with me spending way too much time actually thinking about this, I had to take a night to draw up some concept art for this idea. Ngl hardest part was settling on a design for the robes since I've so far been using a more generic design for the Masters, but wanted to put a bit more effort into Sibyl's design since otherwise what's the point.

So anyway, I introduce; Mr Bindings!

To go ahead and get this out of the way for the rest of my misc thoughts; yes, I'm aware the Masters use it/its pronouns. I'm aware there is significant lore reasons for that. However, I would like to continue using she/her for this character specifically. If she were cisgender, it might have been a different story, but given that she's a trans woman specifically the one true hangup I have with this destiny for her is the overriding of her gender identity. So we’re going to have to be cool with the continued use of she/her. And yes, she's still going to use Mr, that part's fine. I have my reasons.

As mentioned above, she takes over Mr Veils' domain of clothing and fabrics, hence the similarly themed names. The name of Bindings is also a bit of a callback to her time as a Tomb Colonist specifically, as while she is technically not one anymore thanks to this transformation, she still wears her bandages on her hands.

My friend also pointed out the potential joke of binding for trans men (and some enbies), which- Mr Bindings would certainly be on board for that lol.

She might also have an interest in getting dreams under her control, given that she was a Silverer before her transformation and clothes frankly feel like a downgrade. Whether or not she succeeds in this probably depends on how willing Mr Spices is to cooperate with her.

The other Masters are probably wary of her. It's bad enough having someone else get dragged into this whole mess, but Sibyl- a former seeker- specifically was probably the last person they want among themselves.

As for the question of why she would agree to this in the first place, I think honestly answer's quite simple. She's probably so isolated from the rest of society by then and for all intents and purposes: already dead. Plus she'll already have taken over Mr Veils' domain from just defeating the Vake, so why not go all the way?

On a funnier note, I think Mr Hearts finds Mr Bindings in its butcheries far too often, stealing and eating its products. Her strange appetites don't really go away when she becomes a Curator. If anything, I imagine they get WORSE somehow! That or its weird payback for Whitsun.

I imagine her to be taller than the average human, but still quite short and small compared to other Masters.

And of course one more disclaimer that this is all purely hypothetical for now. There's a chance I will make decisions that leave this impossible, but I wanted to draw some batty Sibyl so I did.
