Why does nobody talk about the fact that Mr McKee and Nick definitely slept together.

you’re telling me Nick ‘gay(tm)’ Carraway woke up next to a naked man in his bed and they didn’t sleep together? After being drunk?

(end of chapter two):

Then Mr. McKee turned and continued on out the door. Taking my hat from the chandelier I followed.

"Come to lunch some day," he suggested, as we groaned down in the elevator.

"Where?"

"Anywhere."

"Keep your hands off the lever," snapped the elevator boy.

"I beg your pardon," said Mr. McKee with dignity, "I didn't know I was touching it."

"All right," I agreed, "I'll be glad to."

…I was standing beside his bed and he was sitting up between the sheets, clad in his underwear, with a great portfolio in his hands.

"Beauty and the Beast…Loneliness…Old Grocery Horse …Brook'n Bridge…"

Then I was lying half asleep in the cold lower level of the Pennsylvania Station, staring at the morning "Tribune" and waiting for the four o'clock train.

if I was any less happy I'd have the decency to feel like a loser for bursting out sobbing when Nick Carraway kissed a man (in the A.R.T production of Gatsby).

I wonder if in the Great Gatsby musical if Nick Carraway has the affair with Mr.Mckee.

Mr. Chester McKee is a cool character beyond his relation to Nick Carraway, his social situation doesn’t deter him as he continues to be genuinely passionate about his artistic work even when others don’t take him seriously. He’s hope for a better future in a dire novel and  I wish we got to see him again, maybe him having that promised lunch with Nick.
