Because I re-watched Rick and Morty S1 ep9, “Something Ricked This Way Comes,” and the-- I heard Mr. Needful start to monologue, and suddenly I felt like he should be talking to Hiccup Haddock. Long story short,

Good afternoon weary travelers. With the spooky season in full swing, I figured who better to kick things off than with Rick Sanchez giving his world's variation of the devil the business. Knowing the devil, he'd try to fight back. But as any Rick and Morty fan will tell you: Rick Sanchez is a force of nature and one to be reckoned with. He is scientific chaos incarnate, and I say that emphatically. So much so that I'm starting to see why Morty detests hanging out with him so much. But I digress. After his initial encounter with the devil, Rick decides to catalogue all the cursed items in Mr. Needful's (the devil's penname) shop. He does this to scare off any potential customers and to further add insult to injury, Rick opens a store right across the street from him. I found this to be quite hilarious. Apparently, Rick's plan went so well, it drove the devil to commit suicide! I couldn't believe it! Major props to Rick on that.
