Ok this one might be controversial, but Peter never calls Tony dad. I know a lot of people like the idea of it but I just don’t think it fits their characters very well. That’s not to say that Peter doesn’t see Tony as a father figure and that Tony doesn’t see Peter as a son because they both definitely do. I just feel like Peter wouldn’t ever want to call Tony dad because it makes him feel like he’s replacing his father and even though he doesn’t have that many memories of him he doesn’t want to disrespect his place as his father. Tony understands this, at a certain point in their relationship Tony and Peter sat down for a talk and Tony told Peter that he saw him as a son, Peter responded in mind by telling Tony that he saw him as a father figure but that he didn’t want to call him dad for the reasons I’ve listed, Tony understood completely and was even a little relieved because he was terrified that he was going to end up being like his dad and even though it’s an unrealistic thought this helped a bit. Peter will still call Tony dad sarcastically when he’s being overprotective, and he’s saved in his phone as “Irondad” but Mr. Stark sort of took the place of dad instead. He does the same with Natasha and May even though he sees the both of them as mother figures. He continues to call May Aunt May or just May, and he calls Natasha мама паук or Nat.
