The symbol in the back is the symbol of an anti-government resistance group in the story known as "The Green Sun." In the beginning, the members of the group strived to maintain anonymity to prevent being caught and detained for their activism against Lord Zalgo. However, they weren't aware this would only make it harder on our main characters, Oscar and Oliver, to link their deaths to that of the disappearances of students from the Institute...However, once this evidence is unveiled, it changes the entire course of their investigation - revealing a grisly government conspiracy at hand. Then, it would be a matter of gathering the evidence needed to take the government to court, before any of Oscar's friends could become their next target.
