@mrflayed // Mrs. Holloway had her son Tom by the scruff of his neck. Which was impressive considering she was much smaller than Tom. She dragged him by the neck to The Hopper family home and knocks on the door. "Your apologizing" she see that Tom who has a cast now on his hand and his face is still beat to shit. He definitely didn't win. But his bone breaking and slicing Jim's jaw open wasn't good. So his mama was forcing him to apologize. // like kids throwing tantrums, these boys lmao
There was a knock at the door of the Hopper household. Heavy boots stomped towards the front door, and when it swung open, it revealed Hawkins PD’s current Deputy and future Chief of Police: Jim Hopper Senior. He was tall and broad- even more so than his son, with a stern set to his strong jaw. At the sight of the pair, he narrowed his eyes at Tom.
He’d never liked Tom. Always thought he was too thin and weak- a bad influence on his son. “Mrs. Holloway,” he greeted, forcing himself to keep his tone even and friendly. “… Tommy,” he added, more coolly. He crossed his arms across his chest, his green ARMY shirt straining against his biceps. “Guessing you’re here about the fact my son is gonna have a new scar on his ugly face?”
He scoffed, before turning his head to yell back into the house: “JUNIOR! GET DOWN HERE, RIGHT NOW!”
“WHAT?!” Jim yelled back from somewhere further in, sounding thoroughly annoyed.
“Motherf-” he glanced at Mrs. Holloway, a tight, apologetic smile spreading thinly across his face. “One second,” he gave her a little nod, before closing the door. Stomping could be heard, along with shouting, cursing, and a few bangs. When the door opened, Hopper Senior had Hopper Junior by the hair on the back of his head. He practically shoved his son forward. “TALK,” he ordered through grit teeth.
Jim looked at his father with icy fury, before turning it on Tom. Seeing Tom being dragged along by his mother. He snorted. “Mama’s boy,” he mumbled under his breath, only to get the back of his head smacked hard enough his hair fell forward. “Ow.”
