The Philippines has a tropical climate and mangroves are typically found in tropical and subtropical areas. They're very widespread. Too bad they undergo a lot of deforestation nowadays :P

Well your original post and it's reblogs were made between 1pm and 10pm EDT. Maybe schedule some reblogs in the morning hours? You also posted them over the weekend, which means they could have been drowned out by the flood of other weekend posts. It's an amazing comic, I'm just as shocked as you are about it's limited attention. :(

Yeah I’m on PST and usually post around 10am since thats when I see the majority of the people are posting on my dash. But I guess that wasn’t the case this time? It was probably an analytical thing (or at least I’ll tell myself that).

But thanks for liking my comic! I’m glad at least someone liked it on here ^-^

You are alienating friends and family based on their political beliefs? That's... not good. You shouldn't let politics govern your lifestyle that much. It'll just make you an unhappy, bitter person. Trust me - I watched some of my own friends and family do the same thing when Obama took office. They are still bitter, unhappy people.

You know, it must be nice to not have politics govern your lifestyle. To not worry about being forcibly impregnated. To not worry about being legally compelled to carry that pregnancy to term, your personal beliefs or finances or health be damned. To not worry about being fired because your employer found out you have a boyfriend. To not worry about being fired because you don’t identify with the gender you were assigned at birth. To not worry about whether the job interviewer is judging you by your skin color. To not worry about whether the police officer is judging you by your skin while they have a hand on a gun. To not worry about your place of worship being burned. To not worry about whether your family is going to be deported. 

All that sounds super nice.

You may have good intent, but bluntly, this sounds like someone whose ‘lifestyle’ has never been the subject of legislation. I’m going to alienate whoever the fuck I want, and double points if they support people who actively hurt me and those I love. If it’s so important that I don’t let politics govern my life, then you should be telling your politicians that, not me. I don’t get a choice. And neither do millions of other Americans.

Uhhh.... I believe it was earlier today when an art classmate of mine showed me a study she made that was inspired by the latest studio piece that I turned in?

I don’t drive though I should and haven’t really thought about it! Something practical for a singular bean, I guess. I’m not really a fancy-schmancy car person.

Not...really? I think about people that I haven’t seen in a while sometimes, but all of the people that I love hanging out with I see or communicate with almost on a regular basis so.

Yeah, I think it’s pretty relaxing! But I usually only let it happen when I know my hair is clean because otherwise ew no thank you for anyone involved.
