Who is Rose?

It's about time someone made a Rose masterpost. She used to go by mrose2000 and mr87152 on Tumblr before she deleted both of her accounts after being called out for her racism against me. Now, she goes by @lovelycyberdragon (now @darkladyascending) and @selayapss (now @leaelakey) The latter will deny she is Rose but I have caught her IP address and their talking points are uncannily similar.

Some of the things Rose has said to me:

Nobody threatened to kill her. Nobody insulted her for her disability. The disability she is talking about is self-diagnosed ADHD, which I'm professionally diagnosed with. Another lie of hers.

Rose has been harassing the Bellamort fandom since August of 2024. At first, she pretended to be nice. She would comment on Bellamort posts but wasn't hostile. She was clear about the fact that she did not ship Bellamort and none of us were rude to her about it. I found it annoying that she would constantly interact with us, trying to undermine our ship, but she was polite so I said nothing to her.

@keepmycandleburning and @toujours-x-bellamort were incredibly kind to her. They read her fanfic and for a long time, until she blocked them and deleted their comments, the only good comments on her fic were theirs. How did she repay them? By posting screenshots of KMCB's fic and mocking it. The same fic she had read in its entirety, like many other Bellamort fics.

This was two months after she harassed me on Reddit for shipping Bellamort. I have only recently realised that person was also Rose.

It wasn't until KMCB posted something about James and Snape that she disagreed with that she began to show her true colours. She reblogged it rather rudely and was called out for it. She went on an anti Bellamort rampage after that and was blocked by the entirety of the Bellamort fandom. Did that stop her? No. She would open our posts on her laptop and take pictures of them and post them on her blog with her stupid little commentary. For a long time, we ignored her, but she did not stop her harassment. It got so bad that even hp-confessions had to ask her to stop harassing Bellamort shippers.

Next, she targeted KMCB's fics on ao3. That's where she posted all her racist comments. She deleted her Tumblr accounts because she was getting called out for her racism but she's back now and she's still harassing Bellamort shippers. She's still posting screenshots of our posts on lovelycyberdragon and is still hateful as ever.

Can you reveal who the troll is if you know?

A bit of a background for people who don't know about the troll situation:

There is a troll going around since May sending people anonymous asks pretending to be other people. They mostly target Snape, Marauders, Bellamort, Tomarry, and most recently Tomione fans. They impersonate fans and send hate to other fans to start drama.

Based on my investigation and a conversation I had with them, it is almost certainly a person known as Rose. They deactivated their last account (thedarkladyascending) and the trolling reduced after that, but it hasn't completely stopped. The troll's obsession with Bellamort mirrors Rose's and also their willingness to use slurs. Rose has already used racial slurs before.

EDIT: as of 12/12/2025, this troll is back on Tumblr. Their current username is @vibrantnemesisessence, but this post will be updated if they change their username or create a new account.

They're saying the same thing, targeting the same person's ethnicity.

The anonymous troll has also shown willingness to use the vilest slurs in their trolling, which is a line a lot of 'normal' haters won't cross. This echoes Rose's own racism that she's expressed multiple times. The receipts:

She's also shown her paranoia by constantly harassing someone who had to leave Tumblr due to her harassment even after they were gone, and leaving comments on their ao3 fics, with no proof:

When I had a conversation with her in private, she was accusing them without any proof of of being the anonymous troll and bullying her, on the suspicion that they felt threatened by her writing. The person in question is an English Literature professor, so I highly doubt that's the case. She was also rarely targeted by troll. She also admitted she has no proof. If she really believed they're the troll, why would she tell me not to reveal it? She could have asked me not to mention she gave me that information.

This was after I posted that I suspect her of being the troll (I never mentioned her by name, just said "a known racist") and it was the first time she got a troll anon. She was always safe until then, so I wondered what changed? Unless it was just a way for her deflect the blame. She deactivated her account shortly afterwards, so she was clearly panicking.

After I told her that person couldn't be the troll and gave her a few inconsistencies proving it, she backtracked and accused a few other Bellamort shippers, and none of them fit either. She was just randomly accusing people without any proof.

She also accused the person who DMed me and gave me some of the background and receipts of being the troll and shifting the blame off themselves onto her, and called it gaslighting, which is exactly what she seems to be doing with the Bellamort shippers, so the projection also proves her guilt.

Her history of trolling, bullying, harassment, and falsely accusing people of stuff goes far back. In the beginning of this year, she created a troll account to harass a user through vile false accusations:

This is a list of her known blogs. None of them is currently active. However, the fact that she still sends anons suggests she has a secret blog.

MRose2 was my neighbour growing up and we also went to the same university and she confessed to me multiple times that she's only attracted to 14-16 year olds and that she has fake accounts online pretending to be a teenager learning Japanese just so she can talk to minors

I want to believe it isn't true for the sake of her victims, but I just remembered that she's admitted to it herself. I thought she was just trying to be provocative, but given her behaviour and the comments she's made, I should believe her victims.

My heart goes out to the children and I hope this foul creature gets jailed.
