The six-hour client for tomorrow (we’ll just refer to him at Mr. Six) asked if I wanted to be his “girlfriend for the weekend” and hang out off the clock…

I was tempted to say ‘yes’. I haven’t been on a vanilla date with a guy who had money to spend in three years. He also has a nice temperament and doesn’t talk a whole lot. I also really want to go with him to his mom’s cookout. I haven’t been to a good ole, home grown, black family cookout in so long!!! I desperately want to feel that part of black culture again. Those parties would give me a feeling of belonging.

But I’m never allowing another client to get away with what I allowed Derrick to get away with. Furthermore, Mr. Six can actually afford to treat me nicely, unlike Derrick.

Never again letting these guys get away without paying me. These men are a nightmare.
