Smart sustainable cities
Climate change is the biggest thing we as humans have ever done.
State and local government authorities are failing to respond to the challenges of low-carbon economies and resource depletion by altering their practices accordingly. MRWA signed the Zero Waste 2020 Agreement, proudly stating that, “We embed sustainability in all our activities” yet continue to create tonnes of unneccessarry carbon intensive landfill every year.
