the ro'meaves are perfect in every way
considering they were the first family that had custom faces/skins, the ro'meave family is weirdly competently designed??? like, jesson hit a homerun, ran the bases, etc.
pulling from pdh since that's the one season they're all in together, here is the breakdown
Garte and Zianna
i think the highlight of garte and zianna as a couple is the fact that they don't share any features, period. garte has blonde hair, colbat blue eyes, and warmer toned skin. zianna's hair is dark grey, her eyes are sea green, and her skintone is a cooler pinkish. i look at these two together and my mind goes to friends/lovers, a collossal point in their favor
Garroth and Zane
if you told me these two were related, i would hesitantly raise my eyebrow. i mean, its possible. they're both blue eyed slices of wonderbread, but they don't look like they come from the same loaf.
at which point you pull out a photo of their parents and then yeah absolutely they are brothers from the same mother and sibings from the same sperm.
garroth looks just like his dad all the way from his hair to skintone to how dark his eyes are, but his eyes are shaded backwards like his mother and have her green mixed with the blue to create a pleasent turquoise. he's the spitting image of his dad but sees the world closer to the way zianna does.
zane has zianna's dark hair and light eyes, but his eyes are totally blue like his dad's, and his skintone is a slightly dusty neutral. zane looks closer to zianna but garte is still very evident in the way he looks and acts.
there is so much character in the aspects they took from each parent it's actually pretty great
Vylad
vylad looks radically different from the rest of his family, and of course he does he's the product of an affair zianna had. really the only trait he shares with anyone is the backwards eyes garroth and zianna had and totally green eyes like zianna.
vylad has always been kinda separated from the rest of his family, and it makes sense that the only ro'meaves who kinda look like him are the two that were closest to him and always treated him like family. incredible.
