Since you two have seemingly been caught up in a literal swath of flames, and certainly not just the ones flaring from the passions quickly developing between you two in anticipation for the coming battle (and perhaps simply from your meeting as well), I might remind you that the fairest way of determining your relative skills will be on an official gym battlefield. I would highly recommend you two relocate before declaring a beginning to that battle.
