I'm honestly of the opinion that Delling Rembran is an idiot
Like the only reason he's alive is because Suletta beat Guel before Vim's assassin took him out
How do you put in place a system of inheritance, like he set up for Miorine and Asticassia and not set up safeguards to ensure that no one kills you so they can stop the duels early and still gain the power they desired? Like that is piss poor planning right there and would have been his own fault in many ways as really, that a shrewd business decision at that point for Vim to make as it ensured his son would remain Miorine's fiance, would stop the duels, and would ensure he immediately took over the Benerit Group
That's like win-win-win for him with very little drawbacks and that would have been the case for whoever was the backing behind the current holder at any given time, so Delling should have set up safeguards like "If I die before Miorine turns 17 the results of all Holder duels are null and void" and/or "If it is even suspected that the company backing the Holder had any role in my death they are automatically disqualified as Holder" etc.
But either Delling had a bit of a death wish (which is possible, but I think unlikely) or he really thought so highly of himself that he thought such things unnecessary (very possible, but not indicated in canon) or he just straight up didn't even consider it (most likely given what we are presented with in canon but makes him look incredibly dumb)
Ok, so what if Suletta is not an Ericht clone but rather when Elnora tried to disconnect Ericht from Lfrith, her consciousness got split on a sense that Eri become Aerial and the left behind consciousness is Suletta.
Eri's body went under comatose, so it had to be cryogenically frozen while Elnora tries to find a solution to wake her daughter up. But when she woke up, Eri no longer recognizes anyone, thus Elnora becoming mad and swearing vengeance. She then changed her name to Prospera and the new child, Suletta.
But what about the soul stuck in Lfrith? She got integrated into the mainframe AI system of the mobile suit. Therefore, the soul in the mobile suit no longer recognizes herself as Eri yet she has a strong bond with Suletta because they are of the same soul.
Elnora /Prospera then realizes it when she tries to regain control over Lfrith (that's why she also calls Aerial her daughter): That the system is still registered under her daughter's name. Thus Aerial is born.
But how tf can that happen in the first place? My best guess is during EP 0 - - when Cardo strapped little Eri into Lfrith and told the child to talk to the robot like a little sister. The AI awakened when it was treated like a human being rather than a machine that needs to be activated. That's when the consciousness connection began.
Isn't it strange that in Cradle Word, Aerial's language seems more mature than Suletta's? And yet during EP 6, Aerial's silhouette looks like the kid Eri? Perhaps she has no understanding of how growth and development works? Or rather that is the last figure she remembers having and she was stuck with it ever since?
And while social anxiety and shyness are a thing, I find it strange for Suletta to act like a 12 or a 13 year old when outside the mobile suit, yet act like a completely adjusted normal person inside Aerial. It can be written off as she treats Aerial as her own sister and thus become more comfortable while piloting Aerial. But what if there's a deeper meaning to that? Like they are actually two peas in a pod sort of thing?
I think that the 25 year old Eri (4 years old at prologue +21 years later upon start of the series per Bel Winston) exists in Aerial's main frame while a part of her soul exists in the 17 year old Suletta Mercury.
But what about the bits? I have a theory but I think it needs more thinking lol. Maybe I'll post later.
Come now, this is the vibe of the scene.
I was initially disappointed in the lack of a Sulemio kiss, but 4 days later I actually find myself enjoying this scene more than perhaps any kiss in fiction (Except maybe bumblby for pure sentimental value reasons).
On first watch I actually found Miorine's expressions of horror and despair when she thought Suletta was dead to be quite silly, but I quickly realized it really shows how hard the concept breaks her when you see her professional persona just shatter and she loses all control of her emotions.
Keep in mind that Suletta was the first person to treat her as a person and not an object presumably since the death of her mother. That was enough for Miorine to throw away the chance to escape the prison that was the school after knowing Suletta for one day. Of course after all the time they spent together and all the things they did for each other she can't handle the idea that she's gone.
What really gets me is her colliding their helmets together, seemingly trying irrationally and desperately to touch the woman she loves through their normal suits and the vaccum of space. I've seen people interpret this moment as her actually trying to kiss Suletta, and if that's the intended case then it's a whole other level of heartwarming and heartbreaking how much she loves her and can't take losing her.
Presentation-wise obviously the choice to cut all sound fantastic, but I also love Suletta's face being almost entirely hidden behind the visor (For whatever in-universe reason), which really makes her look lifeless.
Suletta regaining consciousness and Miorine's joy in response is also great but the heartbreak that comes before it is what really makes this one of the most romantic scenes I've ever watched. Bonus points for her smile also being exaggeratedly expressive because again it shows that she's not trying to keep up an appearance and this is just raw emotion.
I still wanna see that wedding though. Come on Sunrise, give us some official art at least!
Also I made an edit in which this show ends as tragically as those particularly edgy Gundam fans were expecting:

Solidarity.
My hopes for the G-Witch finale.
