Imagine being a werewolf, pregnant with triplets, married to M, and the full moon is coming.

Twisting and turning, all of this shapeshifting was hell on your back, especially during the full moon nights when it absolutely could not be helped. Being in your third trimester was hard enough, but turning into a heavily pregnant wolf with a litter was even worse. Yelps and howls came from you during the whole process, which brought your husband nearer to you. Matt, who had promised he was going to give you the pups that you always wanted, had done exactly what he had intended to do.

You finally finished the transformation and laid down on the grass in the woods near the trailer park. You were panting already, just from the exertion. The pups inside of you - they changed too, and it was one of the most excruciating things that you could feel. You survived it, month after month, but not without cursing out Matt for putting them into you in the first place.

Triplets.

It just had to be triplets.

At least there was no one else around to hear  your pain. You and Matt changed separate from the pack, since things felt so weird while being pregnant. You felt bloated and ugly and your ankles were swollen, even as a wolf, you could swear that they looked bigger. You looked up at your husband’s large form, a true Alpha, and he began to lick your face with his long rough tongue. Tonight could be the night. They could always come early. And because of that, he was going to stay next to you throughout the night rather than join the hunts. His wolf form lumbered down, protecting you from at least one side, while keeping his eyes on the other. It did have a way of making you feel safe. And loved.

And oddly, you couldn’t wait to get pregnant again.
