A long body and many limbs, so it could easily move along the currents of the Living Ocean and rise to its back legs in particularly deep places
Mirror Island
I remember about Glubpole, but I'm assuming it managed to escape the cataclysm, since Glubber's Lagoon exists for a water island. Or it was somehow disintegrated, so all that was left of its became Phosphora's eye. Maybe someday I'll rework the design and make it more watchable
How insanely powerful do you think the Quads, Quints, and Celestials are? Since BeMeebEth is the Quint representing all 5 Ethereal elements, he can harness the full power of those 5 elements, right?
Oooh that's tricky. I do think they're powerful, ESPECIALLY the Celestials and the Colossals, they're basically the Gods of the Monster World, no doubt about that. After them comes Stair Shaper and the Titans.
Now, when it comes to the mons, it's complicated. I think most of the Quints are stronger than the average Non-Quint monster, but they're specifically good with their respective elements, (ex: Candelavra would be stronger using Fire related powers than trying to do stuff with Water), and the 1 elemet they're missing form the 6 should be the one they're the weakest against, (tho it's not like 1 Mammot could take Candelavra down just because she's missing the Cold Element).
The only exception I have to these is Mimic, because my personal headcanon is that Mimic can temporarily gain the Fire Element by eating Relics AND has spent so much time near Fire Monsters that he just adapted that much. But over all, the Quints with the base 6 elements are stronger than the average monster and they're around the same level when compared to eachother.
The Natural&Fire Quads are also stronger than the mons with less Elements, but they are still significantly weaker compared to the Quints.
Now, when it comes to Ethereals, having more elemets still equals stronger abilities, and the Quads are better at using their specific Element, and Bemeebeth can use all 5(although he might be a bit inexperienced compared to the Quads who have been there for longer), BUT! more elements = higher instability! The more unstavle an Ethereal is, the more they need to pay attention to their state, in order to avoid getting hurt!
I also like to think the Ethereal Quints and Quad are stronger than the Naturals&Fires, but that too is due to their instability, meaning they could slip up and use more power than intended, (staying in the Pocket Dimension is both for the safety of others and themselves).
And when it comes to Enchantling, they are stronger than the Magical Quints that have Natural elements.
Basically: Celestials and Colossals are by far the strongest, followed by Stair Shaper and the Titans.
The Quints are FAR stronger than the Quads, and are around the same level when compared to eachother, except Bemeebeth who is poweful, but has a bit of trouble balancing their strenght at times.
Quads are strong, with Enchantling and the Ethereal Quads(who also have a bit of a rare balancing issue) being the strongest ones with their own respective elements, followed by the Naturals, Fire and other Magical Quads.
The more Elements a monster has and the more attuned they are to it, the stronger they are.
i should note that one of my friends helped w/ these and he made the body for Phosphora. so genuinely big thanks to them cuz i love how they turned out
GOD, I had to wait with this one, cos it contains stuff abt Mech Islet and I didn't want to spoil it for others.
(Others mainly being Moss, hello there Moss 👋 ^_^ )
ANYWAYS! Let's get into it.
• Zarroë is the most active Colossal, because unlike the others, they were in the Pocket Dimension when the Cataclysm occurred, so it had less long-term effects on them.
• Speaking of Zarroë and the Cataclysm, they lost one of their hands when it happened, that's why Mech Islet is completely mechanical. It's a prosthetic they made!
• ^This also implies that there's a (probably mostly rotten) severed Colossal arm somewhere out there.
• One of the reasons Vhenshun remembered his failed attempt at getting out through the portal to Plasma Islet was because he wanted to go after Whaill and see her again.
• Zarroë lured Vhenshun to the mines -and by extention to their observation room- on porpouse. They put that warp button there, because this Colossal mathed out how long it would take to polish up every last bit of their new prosthetic-and-by-extention-new-islet and planned it so Vhenshun would get there when it's finished!
• Zarroë did start paying more attention to the Workshopeans, through some of the Meebs and felt a bit bad for Vhenshun being locked up and also about sending him on this wild goose chase, but hey, it was worth it!
• Zarroë could make their spirit appear as a floating hand waaayyy before the Colossals even foresaw the Cataclysm. This was especially useful, because Zarroë already spent most of their time in the Pocket Dimension, so manifesting their spirit allowed them to be in 2 places at once.
• Zarroë is one of the most powerful Colossals. I mean come on, we've seen more activity from them, than all the other Colossals -some of which are canonically awake- COMBINED. This could be because as I've mentioned, they were in the Pocket Dimension during the Cataclysm and got affected less, but PLEASE, THEY BROKE THE FABRIC OF REALITY, MULTIPLE TIMES. (Dulcettéa is still the most powerful, but Zarroë is a close 2nd or 3rd).
• ^Zarroë's strength is mostly from their brain- and will-power. The reason they're considered so powerful is that they're constantly coming up with new ideas, do what they can to make them a reality and their brain power is enough to fully affect reality itself.
• The Colossals imbuing their spirits into the islands was a scary and very much not pleasant experience for some of them.
• Galvana and Zarroë had the closest Colossal-Celestial relationship out of all of them. They worked on many projects together, trusted eachother with secrets and just liked being near one another.
• ^When Zarroë imbued their spirit into Ethereal Island, their last words were calling out to Galvana, scared and hoping that at least their friend is safe.
• Magical Sanctum exists because the Titan Enchantler decided to go to the Pocket Dimension after they learned they can't become a Colossal. -> Zarroë welcomed them very happily and they're somewhat fond of the (compared to them) young Titan.
• The holo-bug critters on mech islet can glitch the monsters a little bit, but not to a harmful degree. They just tickle a bit :]
• Vhenshun SO updated his tech knowledge once he got to Mech Islet. That place has high- and modern tech all over it, and my guy couldn't be happier to have some good enrichment.
• Gentle headbutting is a common form of showing affection in the Workshop. Especially from the monsters who don't have limbs, or would have problems bending them in some ways.
• If a Strombonin gets injured and can't get help on its own, the Strombone will search and/or call for the nearest monster who can help. And the Srombones can move pretty fast if they travel in water!
• If the Workshopeans knew what A Hat In Time is, Pentumbra would like Snatcher.
• Zarroë's current equivalent of giving a hug is grabbing someone with their hand-shaped-manifasted-spirit and carfully squeezing them a little. But since this can be terrifying for some monsters, they've mostly resorted to giving head pats.
• During a break on Plasma Islet, Whaill could faintly hear from the distance a very familiar voice yelling in celebration and also calling her name out, along with "I KNEW IT WHAILL, I WAS RIGHT!"
• Everyone on Mech Islet needs to pay SO MUCH ATTENTION to keep Teeter from falling, poor Tauter has a new reason for having separation anxiety.
• Mech Islet has a lot of cameras and if anyone were to fall down, Zarroë can appear there to catch them and put them back safely. > After the first incident, they quickly installed railings made of the same laser-platform-thing the main platform between the Islet's fingers is made of.
• Wardin keeps regularly sending videos of his findings to the Monster-Handlers and they have no clue what the fuck any of it means 'cos the quality gets so screwed through the different dimensions.
• Zarroë and Enchantler love sharing their knowledge on their own respective element classes to eachother.
• Since young Strombonins are naturally shy, many of the parents -especially the mothers- become very protective and doting of their young.
• ^For the same reasons, adults adopting any lonely/parentless young Strombonin is quite common.
• Strombonins have an important role on Cold Island. Besides making sure to keep peace and stop any potential arguments, they often watch out for approaching storms, warn others and help them get to the castle incase of danger, and they patrol farther from the castle and safe area around it, looking for any monster who might be there by accident or may have wandered too far from the safe zone.
• Despite the 2 extra limbs, Strombonins can curl up fully like pangolins do.
• Galvana knows how to call meebs.
• Enchantler would be horrified if it saw what happened to the Mirror Titans, specifically Cruv'laapht and Phosphora.
• Enchantler has the Dorsal Light Response (the reason bugs think light means the source is the way up and keep their backs towards it), so way back before the Titans served as Islands, Enchantler often kept unintentionally backing into Phosphora. Eventually she started trapping Enchantler in a hug every time it did that.
• When Enchantler left, the other Titans didn't know where it went, but thought it'd be better to let it have some alone time after what happened. But as it didn't come back, they started to worry about it a LOT and searched for it everywhere they could think of. Unfortunately they didn't know about the Pocket Dimension. (Even if they did, it's questionable if they could be able to enter.)
• ^That was the first time the others saw Phosphora be extremely upset. She was worried about Enchantler and mad at anyone who told it that its goals are impossible and made it hide away, girl was losing her shit.
• Although Vhenshun can miss what happens to others if he's too focused on his work, he can always clock when Whaill isn't feeling well and if possible, he will abandon his work to drag her to bed. (Hypocrite)
• taken from @bottles-of-moss-2-oops Phosphora likes to dance along the Aurora Monstrealis. And despite their Seasonal Event being an all colorful and flashy light show, she is quite calm and very gentle most of the time.
• Enchantler is the smallest one of the Titans. It is also the only one who can use all 4 magical elements and has the power to create Pure Magicals. Even if the other 4 had all the Single Element Magicals, they still wouldn't be able to create ones with the magical elements that isn't their own.
• Stair Shaper makes owl noises.
• Shadow and Light monsters would actually get along greatly with eachother! They'd find the others' looks and powers very interesting and would balance eachother out :)
