I enjoy well designed watches that have unknown names, and aside from the famous musician, boy is this one unknown! This #Ringo from the late 1950s or early 1960s contains a #Lorsa 238 hand wound 17 jewel movement. Measuring in at 33mm, it is definitely vintage style. Swipe for all the pics. Many of my followers know that i'm a huge @Timex fan. This #Christmas my son gifted me with the 40th Anniversary Easy Reader, a watch I've had my eye on for a while. #Timex did a fantastic job on this one. It has the classic white no-date dial with arabic numerals, black hands and red seconds. Timex then went all out and put it on a very nice, and soft, co-ordinating black, red and white leather strap with black and red keepers. They also added nice touches like the T signed crown, 40th imprint on the case back, and special branding on the strap. All-in-all, a pretty special piece. However, the pièce de résistance is definitely the #Indiglo. Rich in color, and bright, with the wonderful surprice of the number 40 appearing when activated. #Timex #Dynabeat from 1977. The movement in this is one of the very few electro-mechanicals that run at 28,800bph.
